August 14th, 2000 On that Monday, episode 1, E3 Nightmare Begins was published, and the web comic continues on to this day. That makes 125 months, with today starting the 126th. The first month being 14 Aug - 13 Sep that is.
They're up to episode 1295. If you've never read Megatokyo, or even if you have, you can conveniently do so right now. There's nothing too jarring over how it has progressed over the years, although you'll perhaps find the pace rather unsettling once you catch up. If you've not kept up,or disliked something in the past, maybe now is the time to go back.
